THANK YOU to all that joined ¨Napa´s Diverse Walks of Life, Partnered for a Cure¨ at the 2008 Napa Valley AIDS Walk.
The location for the 2008 walk was in the Heart of the Napa Valley - the Lincoln Theater, at The Veteran's Home of Napa Valley, 100 California Drive, Yountville, CA 94599, Saturday October 11th, 2008.
THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT CONTRIBUTED AND WALKED...
Our Goal was to raise $10,000.00 dollars. We succeeded and raised $10,221.00, thanks to the leadership of our two hosts, the Napa Valley Unity League and the Lincoln Theater in challenging teams from the business, school and faith community, as well as encouraging individuals to walk for awareness.

2008 marked the 17th year for this annual event to raise awareness and funding for HIV/AIDS Support Services conducted by the Care Network at the Queen of the Valley Hospital. Treatment includes counseling, case management, emotional support, medical support, in-home case visits and more.
Walk day activities included refreshments, raffles, team competition, balloons, and all the fun was set to music with everyones favorite DJ Rotten Robbie! Additionally KVON/KVYN hosted a live remote with everyones favorite "Kellie in the Morning" on location and broadcasting live from the walk!
The team winners for the 2008 Walk included...
Faith Based Team Winner Covenant Presbyterian Church Napa raising over $2700.00
Community Services Team Winner The Napa Valley Unity League raising over $1000.00
School Team Winner Vintage High School GSA raising almost $600.00
Business Team Winner WTNServices-Ambrosiawine.com raising over $3300.00
First Year Participating Team New Vine Logistics raising over $400.00
Individual Fundraising Winner was Julie Garret.
Thank you to our winning teams and to all the walkers and participants that made this years AIDS Walk a huge success!
